(322) – Today, I graduate!

 

“But one thing is certain, you’re not the same person who walked in”

It feels right and true. It took me five years and a half to graduate and get my Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, the thing I hate most in life but we made it at last. I still can’t believe my eyes; did I really graduate? did I just make it? OH, it’s been so long five years but now it feels just like yesterday. The first day I walked in through the main gate, it was completely a new experience and life to discover, my friends and family told me I’ll never forget these days because university is the place where you don’t have any responsibilities but to study. Well, I will not forget it because I had such a bigger responsibility to take care of, it was my future. I may not be that good engineer you expect but I’ve got something in mind that’ll come out at the right time.

My family still can’t believe their eyes; my mom’s still asking me accidentally sometimes to go study but no more. 🙂 My dad’s out of the country and he can’t wait to come back, look me in the eye and say “screw you, son! you made it my biggest wish to see you an engineer” 🙂 That’s true, it’s been tough for everyone but for me, it was enlightening as well as inspiring.

I knew life will start for real after graduation, it ain’t be any easier but I’m truly hopeful and looking forward to it. Work, jobs, experiences, people, responsibilities and many more things are to be discovered now and I’m welcoming all that. The first thing I’m going to work on is my blog; as a friend of mine suggested, it’s now going to be Till Graduation and Beyond, hopefully I’ll be able to share more stories with you and we’ll make it right to a better life.
