Feeling my way through the darkness
Guided by a beating heart
I can’t tell where the journey will end
But I know where to start

They tell me I’m too young to understand
They say I’m caught up in a dream
Well life will pass me by if I don’t open up my eyes
Well that’s fine by me

So wake me up when it’s all over
When I’m wiser and I’m older
All this time I was finding myself
And I didn’t know I was lost

I tried carrying the weight of the world
But I only have two hands
Hope I get the chance to travel the world
But I don’t have any plans

Wish that I could stay forever this young
Not afraid to close my eyes
Life’s a game made for everyone
And love is the prize

    • I was actually very sad when I posted this today; it somehow reminds me of too many shocking facts about myself when it says “all this time I was finding myself and I, didn’t know I was lost”… BUT still we all need the smiley face, so thank you so much for the smile, you deserve a bigger one back 😀

      • That’s actually true, it happens to me to find out and discover new aspects of my human being and others all the time. I can say that the more we think we know, the less we truly do, there are too many discoveries and mysteries around us, I like your thought, it appeals to me. 🙂

      • can’t agree more! I believe part of the this change and development is age. The other day, I was discussing the issue of age with another blogger, I told her nobody would want to be young for good, the pleasure of young age would probably when our generation grows old or disappears. Age is inevitable, so is change. It’d be better if we adapt instead of the confrontation. 🙂 🙂 🙂

      • Honestly, I don’t know how it feels to look in the mirror when you’re 70 or 80 but i’ll be discovering it one day. LOL i’m not looking forward to that moment, still too early. 😀
